Do you believe in words?

Ever since I was a child, I thought I would be an artist. For a long time, I thought that not becoming an artist was a frustration. It took a global pandemic for me to have time to meet myself and understand that I am an artist: I am a writer. The word is my art and I believe in it like a few things in this world of my God.

Writing has always been my luxury, my dream, something admirable and sophisticated. So much so that I didn't even feel comfortable writing freely. In my childhood and adolescence, I copied other people's texts, as if I had nothing to give. I was just reporting facts. Makes sense, December 1st of the hardest and strangest year of my life. If everything had gone well, I probably wouldn't have challenged myself at that level.

The transformation materialized in an Instagram post, that happened 1 year and 3 months ago. My deadline to pour this out into the world was December 2nd, 2020, the day to be clear to me and the world.

I understood that my art is the spoken and written word, absolutely unrelated to titles and diplomas. I chose to work with regenerative writing, an expression you've probably never heard because that's my way of rebuilding the world.

In these months, I understood: is not enough to be sustainable and not aggressive. It is necessary to rebuild, to regenerate because there is already a lot destroyed on the way.

I understood that I am fully capable of building new things to make the world better through my words.

What I want to build now is a world where people can, more than express themselves, listen. May you have faith in the words, in their power, and choose to use that power to restore.

Few people know how to paint, sculpt, photograph, but many people know how to write. It doesn't need to be treated, poem, article, book. It can be a sentence that reconstructs something good for someone. Perhaps for those who write, even. It doesn't even have to be on paper, but it's good if it is because it materializes in the universe less subtly.

This post is a starting point and an invitation for anyone who wants to, with me, transform the world through words.

Wanna come?
