ABOUT ME
Teacher, copywriter, and storyteller. I am a professional journalist, a master in Contemporary Communication and Culture. In 2020, I abandoned a doctorate in the final stretch to dedicate myself only to writing. Besides, I was born in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, on a Monday of Carnival, I was a child in the Rio suburbs and a teenager in the rich zone of Brasília. At 15, I came back to Bahia, which gave me friends, husband, son, ruler and compass (it's about a famous Brazilian song).
In 22 years of work, I was a reporter and editor in different newspapers and magazines. I interviewed Bono Vox, Steve Wonder, and Gilberto Gil (a few times), was a communications advisor for the largest mall in Bahia, and worked in branding and content writing for many areas. As an entrepreneur, I founded the first fashion agency in the Brazil's Northeast, Ecletique, and the digital content publisher Coralinas do Brasil.
